Winter 25/26 was time to introduce a bit more wildlife friendly cover. Fortunately we had a couple of dry days in January to allow rotovating of ground where we will plant the hedge.
Hedge will be 50% Hawthorne with the remainder a mix of Dog Rose, Dog wood, Blackthorn, Spinndle, Crab apple and Guelder Rose. I have ordered these as bear root plants which will require planting before March.
