We moved to our house over 30 years ago. It was a new build on a small estate which backed on to a field. At the time we assumed the next phase of building would be on this field. However years passed and planning permissions where never obtained though land on all sides was developed. A year ago we have the opportunity to acquire an acre of this land. The plan is to maintain it as a wild flower meadow with some apple trees.
As 2026 gets going I will add a blog to this page to document progress. Also will pull a page together to look at the history of this field as it is quiet interesting.
